Alan's portfolio does not finish there, winning the world club champion title, three times Individual European champion, four times European team champion, three times Individual European champion, two times UK champion, six times 6 Nations Champion, two times home international champion and hundreds of opens on the UK match circuit.

An innovator of many new methods and designs in modern fishing, Alex is a super-successful young angler that continues to be a dominant force on the carp match scene.

Now living in Essex, after taking a significant new role with carp end-tackle giants Korda Developments, Alex cut his teeth on the Midland circuit fishing at the highest level. Amongst many notable wins and titles over the years he also achieved the highly respectable crown of ‘Midland Match Angler of the Year’.

His credentials span through all disciplines, but having featured in many angling publications, on Sky TV and in angling DVDs his unique style, ideas and innovation have helped anglers countrywide to achieve more from their fishing.
With a personal match record of 310lb 12oz, he’s no stranger to big weight fishing, but is equally at home scratching for bites on the coldest of days.

With many angling titles to his name not only does he compete week-in, week-out at the highest open level he’s also a consistent contender in the year’s biggest events on the match fishing calendar, like White Acres festivals, UK Championships and Fish O Mania events. Despite his age he’s driven by the desire to always achieve bigger and better results and to help other anglers improve their fishing through product and method innovation. Noted for being very particular about the gear he uses, he’s been a driving force for many years, yet still has much more to give.

Looking to the future Alex has his angling sights firmly set on a Fish O Mania win boasting a £25,000 prize and aims to continue being a consistent and well-respected pioneer at the highest level.

Jan made his name as a match angler when he was known as 'The Man in Red' by anglers up and down the country. He's even represented Norway in several world championships. Nowadays though, you're more likely to see Jan in camo gear as he tackles all types of venue in search of specimen sized fish. His all-round ability and experience is a valuable asset to Shimano.

Despite his young age, Darran Goulder has an exceptional list of specimen fish from both still and running venues, comfirming himself as a true all round specimen angler. It appears he is equally at home on large wind swept pits, or small intimate rivers. He works as a full time Graphic Designer, so he says that the key to his success is ensuring he gives it 110% when he is out angling. Being organised is very important, so dependent on the conditions, your ready to target the right species on the right day.

A trip to the River Teme in the Midlands 5 years ago, where he landed his first Double figure Barbel at 11lb 4oz, was the turning point in his angling career. No longer did he find the artificial pools he regularly fished appealing, his hunger for running water developed, since then he has not looked back.
