We all want to ride like a pro but let’s face it: Not everybody has the legs for it… Therefor Shimano announces the new Dura-Ace Triple front chainring group now. Riding with professional level components, with the advantage of a much wider gear range.
The Dura-Ace 10-speed Triple group gives you 30 gears to control so you always will have the perfect gear within reach whether going up, down or on the flats.
Since the introduction of our new Dura-Ace group last year, we have been receiving strong requests for a Triple version. Well, it will be there. The technology and materials are the same as used in the Double group, based on the concepts Speed, Smoothness and Strength. Speed and Smoothness result in effortless shifting, improved brake operation, enhanced ergonomics and an updated and attractive feeling and design. Strength is focused on the critical need for lightweight without sacrificing rigidity, durability or precision. “100 % Power Transmission” is the goal pursued by the fusion of these three concepts.
New Dura-Ace 10-speed triple is functionally 100% compatible with the recently introduced Ultegra 10-speed triple. It has a standard chainring combination of 52-39-30T and the following crank arm lengths will be available: 165/165,5/170/172,5/175/177,5 and 180mm.
Dura-Ace Triple will be available in the market from May 2005.
